Army Public School, Bikaner has a sprawling campus of 10 acres, in the heart of Bikaner Military Station, where the imposing school building stands tall representing self-reliance, confidence, indomitable human spirit and of course, abundance.
In 1991 on 1 July the School was designated as Army Public School and was affiliated to Central Board of Secondary Education. It now stands tall and mighty with the strength of 2278 students, who are groomed under one roof to face future’s challenges. Science, Commerce and Humanities streams are offered to students at + 2 level.
The founding fathers of the School had envisioned a future for the children of Army personnel 28 years ago to provide quality education at affordable cost. Army Public School, Bikaner shares their vision and is committed to provide the same. APS, Bikaner is a co-educational English medium Senior Secondary School that combines the very best in educational practices which prepares global citizens.
Reading is the backbone of knowledge. To instill reading habits better reading facilities are created. The school is equipped with two libraries with a large collection of books, journals, magazines and CDs. The senior library is equipped with a multimedia section. Course books, reference books, books on career guidance, encyclopedias, classics, fiction, children’s books, latest bestsellers and a plethora of magazines make the library a reader’s delight. Every year new books are added to improve the existing stock. Computer education has become an integral part of modern education. Today the school has four computer labs. The school computer labs are equipped with 21 machines in each. The school has one 10 MBPS leased line connection of BSNL and a UPS that offers Internet facility available to all for 24×7. All classrooms are TEL enabled. The school has a well-equipped Physics lab, Chemistry lab, Biology lab, Math lab, Social Science lab, English Language Lab, and playgrounds. The school also boasts of having a Science Park with twenty working models and a Herbal Garden with medicinal plants .

To bring diverse cultures, traditions and religions close to each other, the school celebrates all festivals like Dussehra, Deepawali, Christmas, Eid, Lohri, etc. with great fanfare.
